Recommended
Use:
For the lymphedema patient who has had both
breasts removed and double axillary dissections with chest wall
edema and/or radiation fibrosis on both sides. Low ILD foam for
sensitive or compromised tissue.
Features:
This
pad is the equivalent of two UE PMB's sewn together.
It wraps completely around the torso and has an adjustable
VelcroŽ opening over the sternum.
Recommended
Use:
For the lymphedema patient whose swelling
does not extend up into the popliteal area. Helpful
during treatment under lower-leg wraps for softening
fibrosis or for the obese patient who has difficulty
bandaging themselves. An upper leg, or thigh
wrap can always be added as needed. The LE-AD
is used frequently for sports injury and traumatic
edema in the ankle and/or lower leg.
Features:
Lower leg JoVi liner follows the contours of the
ankle and calf and extends from the toes to the tibial
tuberosity. The foot is designed to taper in at the toes.
The dorsal side extends to the base of the toe-nails. The plantar side
extends the full length of the foot and
supports the toes. Two narrow vertical stitch lines relieve
pressure along the anterior tibialis and protect the
Sharpey's fibers from bandage or external binder pressure.
Matching coverlet with non-skid patch for wearing over
Lower Extremity JoVi liners and bandages. Intended for garment
cleanliness, garment
longevity, and patient safety.
